The scenic route wound through the beautiful rural roads of West County, Missouri, offering the perfect mix of challenging curves, peaceful countryside views, and classic Jaguar driving enjoyment.
On Saturday, June 20, 2026, members of the Jaguar Association of Greater St. Louis (JAGSL) gathered for a memorable day trip to Springfield, Illinois, as part of the Route 66 centennial celebrations.
A light morning mist hung over the region on Saturday, but it quickly burned off to reveal partly cloudy skies — ideal conditions for the Jaguar Association of Greater St. Louis (JAGSL) spring drive to Grafton.
We visited THE WORLD’S FAIR exhibit at the Missouri History Museum, with Phil Taxman being our docent guide.
Phil Taxman has been racing his XKE for a number of years. Buying a 1965 E-Type racing vehicle, Phil's learning curve was steep, but as the years progressed, he continues to improve his abilities.
