Route 66 100 years - Springfield rallye

Old Route 66 to Springfield, IL for the Great Race, lunch and a tour of Dana Thomas House.

JAGSL – Celebrate 100 Years of Route 66

Join the Jaguar Association of Greater St. Louis (JAGSL) as we hit the road to celebrate a true American icon: the 100th anniversary of Historic Route 66!

On this special rally, we'll follow in the tire tracks of generations of adventurers by driving portions of the original Mother Road from the St. Louis area to Springfield, Illinois — the very birthplace of Route 66. This isn't just a drive; it's a journey through living history, perfect for Jaguar enthusiasts who appreciate classic style, scenic roads, and unforgettable camaraderie.

Rally Highlights Include:

  • A scenic convoy along the historic brick-paved sections of Old Route 66
  • Passing the iconic Sugar Creek Covered Bridge (with plenty of photo and video opportunities)
  • Witnessing the thrilling start of the 2026 Hemmings Great Race in downtown Springfield
  • A delicious group lunch at La Piazza Cucina Italiana
  • A private guided tour of Frank Lloyd Wright’s masterpiece, the Dana-Thomas House

Whether you're piloting a graceful E-Type, a powerful XJ, or any other member of the Jaguar family, this is the perfect opportunity to enjoy the open road, connect with fellow enthusiasts, and honor one of the most legendary highways in the world on its centennial.

Get your kicks on Route 66 with JAGSL — where great cars, great friends, and great roads come together. We look forward to sharing this once-in-a-century celebration with you!
