The Jaguar Association of Greater St. Louis (JAGSL) hosted its 44th Concours d'Elegance, themed "Jaguars at the Elks," at the picturesque Elks Club in Creve Coeur.

This longstanding event, marking JAGSL's 64th year as part of the Jaguar Clubs of North America (JCNA), drew enthusiasts from near and far for a celebration of automotive elegance under gloriously clear skies.

A Foggy Start Yields to Ideal Conditions

The day began with a thick morning fog blanketing the Elks Club's expansive front lawn, creating an ethereal backdrop for the arriving classics. As the mist burned off by mid-morning, it revealed a low-humidity, warm fall day – the sixth consecutive year of perfect weather for the event. Attendees reveled in the comfortable 70-degree temperatures, making it an unforgettable outdoor experience on the meticulously manicured grounds.

Special Guest Display Elevates the Field

Adding to the spectacle, the Cadillac/LaSalle Club returned for the second year with a stunning lineup of over 20 additional vehicles. These gleaming Cadillacs and LaSalles complemented the Jaguar-centric show, transforming the field into a veritable museum of American and British automotive history. The combined display underscored the event's growing reputation as a premier gathering for classic car aficionados.

Impressive Turnout and Judging Results

Enthusiasm was palpable from the start, with 24 Jaguars preregistered and a final tally of 28 cars gracing the field. Of these, 22 entered the rigorous JCNA judging process, including three entrants from out of town. The vehicles spanned seven decades of Jaguar excellence, from a pristine 1951 XK120 to a modern 2020 F-Type.

Judges awarded several cars perfect scores, a remarkable achievement that positions their owners for contention in the JCNA Class Championships. This success highlights the meticulous preparation and passion invested by JAGSL members.

A Testament to Community and Tradition

Event organizer and JAGSL President [Name TBD] remarked, "The show was superb and successful because of your attendance and participation. Seeing perfect scores across eras is a testament to our club's dedication – excellent progress toward national championships."

As the sun set on another triumphant day, awards were presented amid applause, with trophies gleaming as brightly as the cars themselves. The 44th Concours d'Elegance once again proved why JAGSL remains a cornerstone of the North American Jaguar community.
