JAGSL Birthday Rallye: A Drive Through West County
Phil Taxman delivered a memorable celebration for the Jaguar Association of Greater St. Louis (JAGSL) with his expertly planned Birthday Rallye. The scenic route wound through the beautiful rural roads of West County, Missouri, offering the perfect mix of challenging curves, peaceful countryside views, and classic Jaguar driving enjoyment.
The weather cooperated fully with bright skies and comfortable temperatures, making the day ideal for an open-road adventure. A strong turnout of 24 members and guests joined the rallye, with a fine collection of Jaguars on display. The group featured five XK & XJ models alongside Phil’s striking 1974 Panther J72.

After enjoying the spirited drive, everyone gathered at the Wildwood Bar & Grill for a well-earned delicious buffet. The relaxed atmosphere provided the perfect setting to share stories from the road, admire the cars, and celebrate another successful JAGSL event.
Phil’s thoughtful planning turned a simple birthday rallye into a highlight of the year, reminding everyone why these drives are so special—great cars, great roads, and even better company. Congratulations to Phil and Lupe on a wonderful event, and thank you to all who participated!
