Hello Everyone,
Kelly and Sally Waite and Jen and I would like to thank everyone who was able to make it to the Deer Creek Awards banquet last night. The weather cooperated and gave us a rain and snow free evening.
As usual the food was top notch from the staff at Deer Creek. A big thank you to Curt and Robin Engler for allowing us to use the Deer Creek again.
After dinner Terry Zerr started the evening festivities turning the microphone over to Jeff Homsher who spoke about It’s Alive and the trials and tribulations of being in business for yourself.
There were multiple awards given out last night. Thank you to all of our club members who sponsored events throughout the year as well those of you who do a lot of work behind the scenes.
Cat Bite Award
Awarded To Brandon Gray who was bitten on JAGSL Concours Day with a battery issue.
Mechanic of the Year
Awarded to John Sippel for taking on the installation of a hard top to a couple of his Jags.
Driving Awards
Newer than 25 years was awarded to Jim Hendrix for driving his XJ50.
Older than 25 years was awarded to Kelly Waite for driving his XJ6-C.
We wrapped up the evening with the participation awards. There were a couple of ties this year which were awarded as below.
